Marita Kramer won today's International Ski Federation (FIS) women's Ski Jumping World Cup in Titisee-Neustadt, extending her lead in the young season's overall standings.

The Austrian led after a first jump of 131.5 metres, which scored 128.9 points, and a second jump of 135m in round two - this time scoring 128.8 - was enough for victory in Germany.

Norway's Silje Opseth produced a 138.5m second jump - the biggest of the day - but had to settle for second place following an underwhelming showing in round one.

Opseth was 3.7 points back and Slovenia's Ema Klinec 12.2 behind the leader in third place.

Defending overall FIS Ski Jumping World Cup champion Maren Lundby was fourth and fellow Norwegian Eirin Maria Kvandal, winner of the last World Cup leg, placed sixth.

Slovenia's Nika Križnar was fifth.

Kramer has won two of this season's three World Cup legs, with all three won by a 19-year-old.

This was the season's first competition on a large hill.

A second is scheduled at the same venue tomorrow.

Kramer now holds a 109-point lead in the overall standings, with 20-year-old Križnar second.
