Marita Kramer has further enhanced her reputation as one of ski jumping's ascending stars by making it back-to-back International Ski Federation (FIS) women's Ski Jumping World Cup wins in Titisee-Neustadt.

The 19-year-old Austrian jumped 137.5 metres in round one - the biggest leap of the day - to score 137.8 points and lead at the halfway stage in Germany.

A second jump of 135m and 127.9 points was enough to secure a narrow win over Olympic medallist Sara Takanashi of Japan.

Takanashi received scores that were 1.6 and 0.6 below Kramer's marks, and was then 10.3 points ahead of Norway's Silje Opseth in third place.

Opseth had been the runner-up behind Kramer yesterday.

Austrian Daniela Iraschko-Stolz was fourth, ahead of Slovenian duo Ema Klinec and Nika Križnar.

Kramer has now won three of this season's four FIS Ski Jumping World Cup events, having had only one victory to her name before the campaign.

The two contests in Titisee-Neustadt were the first on a large hill.

The Austrian has 360 points and is 134 clear of second-placed Takanashi in the overall standings.

Križnar is on 191 in third.

Jumpers will next be in action at three World Cup events on the normal hill in Hinzenbach in Austria, scheduled for February 5, 6 and 7.
