Swiss-Ski and clothing company X-Bionic are to continue their partnership for another four years, with the national ski cross team now also set to also don the brand over the period alongside the Swiss Alpine skier.

For eight years, X-Bionic - which specialises in functional underwear -  has provided the Alpine skiing team with attire as a supplier and has worked with Swiss-Ski to improve technology of its ski undergarments.

"By continuing the partnership with Swiss-Ski, we are not only supporting the highly successful top-class sport, but also the future generation of ski stars," said Bodo W. Lambertz, chairman and founder of X-Bionic.

"X-Bionic is not resting on the laurels of the success of the last few years, but is already developing the next innovation for functional ski underwear."

From the 2022-2023 season, the ski cross is to benefit from the deal too.

"During our previous partnership, X-Bionic has proven the great relevance of perfect functional underwear for our athletes' body feeling and aerodynamics," said Christian Zingg, managing director of the Swiss Ski Pool.

"We are proud and happy to be able to go into the future with this innovative and technologically advanced Swiss company."

This partnership is to continue until at least 2026.

It is the latest deal signed by Swiss-Ski following the extension of the sustainability partnership with BKW and signing a supplier agreement with SCATTA for next season.
