Csaba Bányik and Zsanett Janicsek have moved back to the top of the mixed doubles world rankings for October 2021, toppling Brazil's world champions, Natalia Guitler and Marcos Vieira.

The Hungarians moved to 14,188 world ranking points, nearly 1,500 clear of the Brazilian duo.

Bányik fell one spot in the men's singles rankings to fourth, with his compatriot Ádám Blázsovics leading the way once more.

Former men's world number one Adrian Duszak of Poland displaced Bányik in third, with Romania's Apor Györgydeák remaining in second.

Bányik and the world number one Blázsovics top the doubles rankings in first and second respectively, despite a narrow defeat in the European Teqball Tour doubles final in Cervia.

Nikola Mitro, who now represents Serbia, moved into the top 10 of the mixed doubles rankings with the gold medal won at the expense of Bányik and Blázsovics at the European Teqball Tour.

Mitro's partner, Bogdan Marojević, moved up to the 12th in the doubles standings.

Alongside fellow Serbian Maja Umicevic, Mitro has also maintained his strong position in the mixed doubles standings on 9261 points, behind Brazil and Hungary.

Hungary's Gabriella Kota rounds out the top seven in the mixed doubles standings on 6956 points.
