World ParaVolley is on the hunt for a new development director after Ivana Pavic resigned due to ill health.

Pavic had assumed the role in December 2020, following the eight-year tenure of American official John Kessel.

With Croatian Pavic stepping down, the World ParaVolley Board of Directors has the authority to appoint a replacement, who will serve in the role until the next General Assembly.

The next scheduled General Assembly is in December of this year.

The development director sits on the World ParaVolley Board with full voting rights.

Due to geographical limits embedded in the World ParaVolley Constitution, Pavic's replacement may not be American or Canadian.

Duties will include drafting a development calendar, working with various World ParaVolley panels including the Development Commission, attending Board meetings and overseeing the sport's development as a whole.

World ParaVolley has invited written applications, with tomorrow set as the closing date.
