Britain's Bryony Pitman won women's individual and team recurve gold on the final day of the Archery World Cup in Antalya.

Competing with Penny Healey and Jaspreet Kaur Jessica Sagoo, Pitman helped Britain to win the first final of the day at the temporary Antalya Konyaalti Beach Park Ceremony Area.

The trio beat Germany's Katharina Bauer, Michelle Kroppen and Charline Schwarz 5-1 to clinch gold.

Only a shoot-off in the mixed team recurve final denied Pitman a clean sweep of gold medals.

Pitman and Alex Wise were tied at 4-4 after four sets against India's Tarundeep Rai and Ridhi, before their opponents triumphed 18-17 in the shoot-off.

Bronze in the mixed team event went to Brady Ellison and Gabrielle Sasai of the United States courtesy of a 5-3 win against Spain's Elia Canales and Miguel Alvarino Garcia.

The other team final was the men's competition, which was won 6-0 in straight sets by Chinese Taipei's Su Yu-yang, Tang Chih-chun and Wei Chun-heng against Italy's Mauro Nespoli, Alessandro Paoli and David Pasqualucci.

The World Cup in Antalya was rounded off with the individual recurve semi-finals and medal matches.

Pitman defeated Bauer 6-2 to progress to the women's match for gold against The Netherlands' Laura van der Winkel, who won by the same scoreline against Schwarz.

The Briton won the fifth set 29-26 in the final to draw level at 5-5, and then triumphed in the tiebreak to secure a place at the World Cup Final in Tlaxcala in Mexico.

"It's just the perfect way to end today, this week," Pitman said.

"I'm shaking so much.

"It was a tough match but I am really proud of how I shot out there,

"I let a couple of shots go but I'm so happy."

In the all-German match for bronze, Bauer saw off Schwarz 6-2.

In the men's recurve semi-finals, Olympic champion Mete Gazoz of the hosts Turkey was beaten 6-4 by Australia's Ryan Tyack in the semi-final.

However, Tyack came up against a final opponent in formidable form.

After winning a tiebreak 10-9 to overcome the US' three-time Olympic medallist Brady Ellison 6-5, the 2015 World Cup Final champion Alvarino eased to a 6-0 straight sets victory to clinch a place in Tlaxcala.

"I’ve been working hard to win a medal like this for years and I showed my best in the final," said the Spaniard.

"I will try to raise my performance and keep the levels consistent for the rest of the season so we will see where that goes."

Ellison claimed bronze at the expense of Gazoz with a 7-3 triumph.
