The Tunisian Committee of Shootfighting, MMA and Grappling (TCSMMAG) has received recognition for mixed martial arts (MMA) development by the Tunisian Federation of Sport and Work (FTST), giving the nation a boost towards an official MMA organisation.

It provides a boost to the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA), who has TCSMMAG as a partner.

After signing the agreement with the FTST, the TCSMMAG announced it was to hold a series of training seminars for MMA and grappling coaches.

This event was then held at Hammamet on Saturday (June 4) and Sunday (June 5).

Internship certificates were delivered at the end of the training sessions that were signed by the Federation.

The training seminars focused on GAMMA mixed martial arts and striking mixed martial arts rules, which are to be used during the next Tunisian Championships on July 2 and 3.
