A penalty in the 55^th minute from Ghizlane Chebbak proved enough for Morocco to earn the three points and top the group on nine points.

Chebbak’s effort had been stopped by the hand of Senegal’s Salimata Ndiaye, and Morocco's skipper netted the resulting spot-kick to score her third goal of the tournament.

Burkina Faso looked to be facing an uphill task when in the 17^th minute Madinatou Rouamba was given a straight red card for a professional foul.

Three goals were then scored in a six minute spell late in the first half with Burkina Faso levelling on 35 minutes through Adama Congo.

Three minutes later Uganda retook the lead through Sandra Nabweteme, before Burkina Faso equalised for a second time three minutes later, courtesy of Adele Kabre, a result that eliminates both teams.

Group B matches are due to conclude tomorrow, with all four teams in with a chance of qualifying.

Zambia, top of the group with four points, face Togo, bottom of the table with a single point, while at the same time Cameroon, in third place on two points, take on Tunisia, a point and a place above them in the group.
