Five people have put themselves forward for election to Taekwondo Canada's Board of Directors.

Incumbent Wayne Mitchell and Darlene MacDonald are both in the frame for vice-president.

Mitchell was President of the organisation between 2015 and 2019 and has previously served as secretary general.

He has been vice-president since 2020.

MacDonald was formerly an executive director of the organisation.

Elsewhere, incumbent Sandra de Montigny is the only candidate for the role of treasurer.

Three people are in the running to becoming a director at large - Jessica Scarlato, Miroslav Soucek and MacDonald.

Scarlato and Soucek are already in post, as well as Jean François Lebreux.

Those elected will be announced following the Taekwondo Canada Annual General Meeting on September 18.
