A total of 32 archers will be in action in each of the four international competition categories - recurve men, recurve women, compound men and compound women.

A prize money of CHF 28,000 ($27880/£24898/€28657) is on offer for the winners.

Marcus D’Almedia has been tipped to win the men’s recurve trophy in Mexico.

The Brazilian is heading to the season-ender after having podiumed at the South American Games last week.

South Korean super star and Olympic champion An San is most likely to grab the women’s recurve trophy.

She won her ticket to Tlaxcala after winning the round in Medellin and will be hoping to make her form count.

Following the World Games victory earlier this year, the home hopes will be on Miguel Becerra in the men’s compound category.  

He will look to emulate Jack Williams of the United States, who became the first archer to win the World Cup Final as a host representative.

Sara Lopez of Colombia is the star to look forward to in the women’s compound category.

The reigning world champion is yet to win anything major this season but having dominated World Cup Final events over the years, it will not be wise to count her out.
