Sagen Maddalena and Ivan Roe cruised past Ukraine's Daria Tykhova and Serhiy Kulish in the 50 metres rifle prone mixed team final by a score of 16-8.

The win adds to Maddalen's silver medal in the 10m air rifle team event from earlier on in the Championships.

Germany's Jolyn Beer and Maximilian Dallinger claimed bronze after beating Johanna Reksten and Jon-Hermann Hegg of Norway 17-13.

Beer and Dallinger's compatriots Doreen Vennekamp and Christian Reitz then ensured they reached the top of the podium in the 25m standard pistol mixed team contest.

They trounced South Koreans Kim Jang-mi and Kim Seo-jun 17-5 in the final to clinch gold.

Ukrainian Korostylov began the day with title-winning success in the men's individual 25m standard pistol.

After six rounds, he set a leading score of 582 to beat Germany's Christian Reitz and Vijayveer Sidhu of India on 575 and 574 points, respectively.

In the women's final of the 25m standard pistol, it was Xiao Jiaruixuan who prevailed to win China's 20th gold medal of the event.

She amassed 575 points to narrowly beat Rhythm Sangwan of India and compatriot Chen Yan with respective scores of 573 and 572.

Competition is set to continue tomorrow in the Egyptian capital with the 25m rapid fire pistol mixed team final the highlight of the action.
