South Korean Kim Jung-nam and Barbara Moskal of Poland secured the gold medals on day two of the Para Shooting World Championships in Al Ain.

Moskal led a Polish one-two in the VIS 10 metres air rifle VI standing tournament to win the title with ease on 220.9 points.

She held the lead from the third round in the final and only extended her lead until the final stage while compatriot Katarzyna Orzechowska settled for silver with a score of 207.7.

Czech Republic's Martin Adamek made up the top three on 191.3 points.

Kim then won the mixed 25m pistol SH1 gold by a much tighter score line.

He was taken to the brink by Ukrainian Oleksii Denysiuk but won 3-2 in a shoot-off to clinch the victory.

In the final round of regulation, Kim had a three-point advantage but was only successful on one of five shots while Denysiuk scored four to level the scores and send it to the tiebreak.

Indian Rahul Jakhar bagged the bronze medal with 21 points.

Competition is set to continue tomorrow with the beginning of the mixed 10m air rifle standing SH2 while the men's 50m rifle three positions SH1 medallists are set to be decided.
