Veronika Vadovičová of the Czech Republic won her second gold medal of the Para Shooting World Championships in Al Ain as she clinched victory in the women’s 10 metres air rifle standing.

Vadovičová scored a final total of 248.5 points and earned a grand total of 616 points.

The silver medal went the way of Iryna Shchetnik of Ukraine who scored a final total of 247.9 points, and a grand total of 627 points.

The podium was completed by Yunri Lee of South Korea, who scored a final total of 227.2 points, and earned a grand total of 624 points.

Earlier in the Championships quadruple Paralympic champion Vadovičová won the mixed 10 metres air rifle prone SH1 title with a world record score of 255.2 points.

In the Para trap finals victory in the PT1 trap seated mixed category went to Italy’s Oreste Lai with 39.

The silver medal went to Abdolreza Tavasolikhah of Iran with 32, with Britain’s Keith White completing the podium with 26.

In the PT2 standing lower limb mixed category gold went to Vesa Jarvinen of Finland with a total of 42 points.

The silver medal was won by Filip Marinov of Slovakia, who finished on 41 points, while the podium was completed by Italy’s Saverio Cuciti, who ended with 32.

Finally in the PT3 upper limb standing mixed trap category gold went to Italy’s Gabrielle Nani with a total of 41.

Silver went to Adrian Becker Castillo of Spain with 38 points, with bronze going the way of Francesco Nespeca of Italy with 30 points.
