A group of nine French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) Board of Directors members have called on President Brigitte Henriques and treasurer Michel Callot to allow them to have access to the body's financial accounts.

Their letter follows a complaint lodged by former secretary general Didier Seminet against Henriques where he accused her of "slanderous denunciation" and "breach of trust".

Nadir Allouache, Charles Ferreira, Sylvie Le Maux, Bernard Amsalem, Eric Tanguy, Christian Vandenberghe, Olivier Girault, Stéphane Hatot and Jean-Luc Denechau made up the signatories.

The group stated they did not want to "remain simple spectators" and asked for the measure "solemnly, in the name of ethics and transparency."

The feud between Séminet and Henriques has caused a governance crisis at the CNOSF, harming the organisation's preparations for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.

Séminet’s complaint has been issued to the Paris Public Prosecutor after claiming that he had been "publicly denigrated" and "defamed" by Henriques.

Henriques then filed a complaint for "psychological violence" against Séminet in early October after he was removed following a secret ballot at an extraordinary meeting of the CNOSF Board of Directors.

The President has taken sick leave following the dispute with Séminet, admitting it will take her "some time to recharge the batteries".

Henriques, former vice-president of the French Football Federation, has handed temporary control of CNOSF to Callot, secretary general Astrid Guyart, and vice-presidents Jean-Pierre Siutat and Sébastien Poirier while she is off.

The 51-year-old previously said that would "never quit" as she looks to lead the organisation into Paris 2024.
