Poland thrashed Argentina to take the CS:GO Female crown today at the International Esports Federation (IESF) World Championships here.

In the first set, Poland were clear winners by a 16-6 margin as the gap could have been bigger if not for the doggedness of their opponents.

Argentina showed grit again in the second, but capitulated when momentum was going their way. 

A two-point match extended to 16-8 to give the Poles the win.

Mongolia made it into the fight for a spot in the Grand Final in CS:GO, coming from behind to defeat Germany in three games 10-16, 16-14, 16-4.

They are next set to face the neutral Russians under the IESF banner, to advance outright for gold.

Germany did make it through the lower bracket qualifiers though, by beating Indonesia in straight games.

They next face North Macedonia, who remain in contention thanks to a 16-11, 16-11 win over Argentina.

Pakistan made it into the semi-finals in Tekken 7  with a 3-0 victory over Thailand.

Their opponents in the final are Kuwait, who came from 2-1 down to defeat South Korea.

In the lower bracket, South Korea and Italy are to meet for a spot in the bronze-medal match, having won 3-1 against Indonesia, while Italy defeated Thailand 3-2.

In Dota 2, the Philippines are to face home favourites Indonesia in the Grand Final, following the hosts' 2-1 win over Laos.

Finally in eFootball 2023, Indonesia made it into the Grand Final with two victories today.

They defeated Saudi Arabia in straight games before winning 2-1 against Argentina.

Turkey remain with a shot at gold, having defeated Spain 2-1 and Serbia 2-0 to set up a match against Argentina - the winner will play Indonesia.
