Sweden’s Magnus Ringmark has been appointed as the President of the ground jury for the dressage competition at this year’s Pan American Games in Santiago.

The 59-year-old 5* judge was a member of the ground jury at the re-arranged 2020 Olympics, held in Tokyo in 2021.

The dressage competition at Santiago 2023 is due to take place between October 20 and 25 at the San Isidro Riding School in Quillota, 75 miles outside Chile’s capital.

The event will be an important intercontinental qualifying competition for riders hoping to qualify for next year’s Olympic Games in Paris.

Ringmark will be joined on the ground jury by Michael Osinski from the United States, Colombia’s Cesar Torrente, Portugal’s Carlos Lopes and Canada’s Cara Whitham.

Americans Janet Foy and Lisa Gorretta will act as the foreign technical delegate and chief steward, respectively.
