Zogg posted a timing of 1min 15sec for the title before Sabine Schöffmann of Austria and another Swiss athlete in Jessica Keiser took the silver and bronze, respectively.

Schöffmann clocked 1:17 while Keiser finished in 1:18.

The results today meant that today Daniela Ulbing of Austria lost her overall World Cup lead in parallel slalom.

Schöffmann is first with 216 points while Ulbing dropped down to second on 210 points.

Today’s winner Zogg is currently third with 209 points.

"It was great for me to win again," said Zogg.

"I’m happy to be back on the top after a difficult season start.

"I'm now looking forward to the next race."

Among men, Caviezel cruised to gold in 1:08 while Fabian Obmann of Austria finished in 1:10 to win the silver medal.

Italian Edwin Coratti settled for bronze, clocking 1:09.

Despite only managing a 15th place finish today, Austrian Alexander Payer is on top of the overall parallel slalom table with 196 points.

Italian Maurizio Bormolini, in ninth, sits second 30 points behind payer.

Caviezel is the third best in the category overall, with 156 points.
