The 18-year-old freestyle skier claimed both the women’s moguls and dual moguls titles at the Canadian resort.

Not even Australia’s Olympic champion Jakara Anthony, who had won the previous three women’s moguls events could stop Kawamura.

The Japanese ace triumphed with 82.25 points to see off Anthony who had to settle for silver after scoring 81.88.

The bronze medal went to Jaelin Kauf of the United States who totalled 78.34.

Kawamura then completed a Val Saint-Côme double when she overcame France’s Perrine Laffont in the women’s dual moguls final.

Britain’s Makayla Gerken Schofield rounded off the top three when she defeated Kauf in the small final.

Six-time world champion and multiple World Cup winner Mikaël Kingsbury of Canada returned to winning ways.

After finishing second in the past two World Cup legs last month, Kingsbury topped the moguls standings with a score of 85.37.

Sweden’s Walter Wallberg earned 81.69 for silver as Japan’s Ikuma Horishima totalled 81.36 for bronze.

Wallberg then gained revenge over Kingsbury in the dual moguls, beating the Olympic gold medallist in the final.

He was joined on the podium by fellow Swede Filip Gravenfors, who beat Australia’s Matt Graham in the small final to clinch bronze.
