Chasing a total of 68, India claimed the trophy with 36 balls remaining and lost just three wickets at the Senwes Park in Potchefstroom.

Titas Sadhu was named Player of the Match after earning two wickets in the early part of the match - first caught and bowled Liberty Heap after just a run and gaining another after 22 - hitting the stumps to take out Seren Smale.

Captain Grace Scrivens, who was named Player of the Series, lasted just four runs before being bowled out by Archana Devi.

The majority of England's runs came from four players, with Ryana MacDonald-Gray having the most of all with 19 before being caught by Devi and bowled out by Parshavi Chopra.

Sophia Smale, who was the last cricketer to be bowled out, and Alexa Stonehouse ran for 11 each, while Niamh Holland achieved 10 runs.

India's batting did not last long, with only five players taking to the crease.

Captain Shafali Verma scored 15 runs, but was caught by Stonehouse and bowled out by Hannah Baker.

Shweta Sehrawat was bowled after five runs too.

However, the duo of Gongadi Trisha and Soumya Tiwari were the winning combination - taking 48 runs between them before Trisha was bowled out by Stonehouse.

Tiwari would score the winning run to help India claim the trophy.
