Canada have maintained their grip on the team crown with an emphatic performance at this year’s Pan American Cup in Guadalajara.

The Canadian team went the entire tournament without dropping a single game as they thrashed the United States 3-0 in the final at the State Council for Sports Promotion Mayor II Sports Centre venue in the Mexican city.

The US are the only country to win the team title other than Canada since the inaugural tournament in 1977.

But they were well beaten in the final as Canada powered to victory to cap a perfect record in Guadalajara.
