Britain's 14-year-old world champion Sky Brown was in stunning form again as she won the first leg of the World Skateboarding Pro Tour 2023 season in Argentina.

The teenager triumphed at the San Juan Park event after completing three full runs where she increased the difficulty each time.

Brown's best total was a huge score of 90.83 points - similar to the 90.83 she tallied when winning the world park title in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates in February.

She had earlier scored 85 and 87 and knew that she had triumphed going into her last run as Australia's second-place finisher Ruby Trew had only tallied 86.16

"I am so stoked," Brown, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic bronze medallist, said.

"It's so cool watching all the girls just take it to another level.

"They were all in the 80s, it's just so cool to see.

"It's so inspiring and it just makes me want to push even harder.

"I had the best time."

Raicca Oliveira of Brazil tallied 85.17 in bronze with the event also offering qualification points for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
