He outlined the impact of the THF's support on helping him to reach the World Championships.

"Since the first day when we started THF school in Jordan in the refugee camp, I was one of the first athletes," said Al Ghotani.

"I received training, uniform and a professional coach.

"I received some videos from the refugees in Azraq to encourage me for the competition," added Al Ghotani.

"When I go back, I will tell everybody about my experience.

"Everyone will have hope now.

"If I have had the chance to be in the World Championships, others will have the chance again and there is hope now for every refugee in Azraq to come one day to the World Championships."
