According to The Taipei Times, a modeling agency has offered to promote Bravo while a television show has also invited the mascot to make an appearance.

Other mascots have reportedly invited Bravo “to play together”, while the National Palace Museum has invited the bear to become a part of their special exhibition.

Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je reportedly said the city's Government will need some time to "discuss the options".

The mascot's "hunt for employment" has involved various publicity stunts, such as visiting the Taipei City employment services office.

“The Taipei City Government will handle this as special case," said Ko.

"City Government departments have their own mascots and we have too many."

Bravo is based on the Formosan black bear, a species endemic in Chinese Taipei.

It was chosen as the mascot in an online vote and can be seen wearing a gold medal to represent the hope that "all Universiade athletes can pursue their dreams".

The 29th edition of the Summer Universiade came to a close on August 30.

Japan finished top of the medals table with 101, made up of 37 golds, 27 silvers and 37 bronzes.

South Korea finished second on 82 while hosts Chinese Taipei occupied third with 90, but four less golds than the Koreans.
