The Norwegian speed skater backed up her success in the women’s 3,000m final with another gold in the Polish city.

There was no stopping Wiklund as she stormed to the title, winning by almost a full second from Antoinette de Jong of The Netherlands.

Wiklund clocked an impressive time of 1:56.45 as de Jong claimed silver in 1:57.39.

The bronze medal went to Japan’s Miho Takagi who crossed the finish line in 1:57.59.

Norway enjoyed further success when Sander Eitrem captured the men’s 5,000m crown in a track record time.

Eitrem came home in 6:15.06 to beat the previous record of 6:15.56 held by Sweden’s Nils van der Poel.

Beau Snellink of The Netherlands secured silver in 6:21.63, while Belgium’s Bart Swings bagged bronze in 6:22.94.

The men’s 500m title was won by Japan’s Yuma Murakami after clocking 34.69.

American Jordan Stolz had hoped for a second gold following his victory in yesterday’s men’s 1,500m final but had to settle for silver in 34.73.

Dutch ace Dai Dai N'tab completed the podium when he finished in 34.79 for bronze.

The United States swept to women’s team sprint gold as McKenzie Browne, Erin Jackson and Kimi Goetz registered a winning time of 1:27.92.

Canada captured silver in 1:28.73, with China earning bronze in 1:29.51.
