Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) USA has announced it will hold a Youth Nationals event in Little Rock.

Competition for athletes aged between eight and 17 will take place on April 29.

For the first time, belts will be presented under GAMMA to the champions.

Registration for the event is now open but all athletes must be registered with GAMMA.

In novice/youth MMA, no head strikes or lower body submission moves are allowed.

GAMMA USA said some "special guests" would be coming to the event, with details announced soon.
