AJP hosts 10 events with over 7,000 registered athletes this weekend. AJP

Known for its highly technical tournaments all around the world, the AJP has reached another milestone in its journey to popularise Jiu-Jitsu and provide competitors with the opportunity to make a living from the sport.

From this Friday 2 February to Sunday 4 February, the organisation is promoting no less than ten tournaments around the world, with over seven thousand athletes registered to take to the mats and put their skills to the test.  After returning with full force in 2024 with the explosive Abu Dhabi Grand Slam World Tour Tokyo, the AJP has maintained its momentum with its usual weekend tournaments, culminating in the stacked weekend ahead.

Among the highlights, the UAE National is a beacon in Abu Dhabi, completely taking over the modern Mubadala Arena from 2-4 February. Other headliners include the Brazil National, which takes place in Fortaleza on 3-4 February, and the Slovakia National, which lands in Bratislava on 3 February. That's not even half of what fight fans and athletes can expect. On  the 3rd and 4th of February, the Russian city of Novosibirsk will host the Siberian Regional, giving local coloured and black belts a chance to make a name for themselves while reducing travel costs. On the international front, there will be five tournaments between Bangkok, Maintal, Guarapari, Gramado, and Bishkek.

It's worth noting that both February and the 2023-2024 season are just getting started, so there will be no shortage of tournaments and opportunities for you to rack up those sweet ranking points.
