Throughout the day the participants were able to compete in Sport, Combat and Beach SAMBO. The tournament started on the SAMBO mats and after all the Sport and Combat SAMBO bouts were completed, the athletes moved to the beach. 

"The central coast of Chile is located in the Valparaiso region and is one of the most popular destinations in the country, famous for its variety of beaches. Of course, we took advantage of the natural conditions so that the athletes could try themselves in different SAMBO disciplines," said Nelson Romero, President of the Chilean National Sports Federation of SAMBO and Martial Arts. 

He also emphasised that the main objectives of the "LA COPA LITORAL" are the education and training of competitive athletes and the further development of SAMBO in all regions of the country.

Another international SAMBO tournament CYPRUS 2024 was held in Limassol on 17th and 18th February. Sambists from Armenia, Greece, France, Serbia, Ukraine and Cyprus took part in the competition. 

On the first day of the tournament, the medals were played in two age categories: among youth and junior. On the second day of the competition, the adult athletes took to the mats to fight for victory in the Sport SAMBO and Combat SAMBO competitions. The event was crowned by a general training session for the teams, which took place after the end of the tournament.
