New agreements strengthen UK Anti-Doping powers

September 1 - UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) has agreed to share information with Government agencies to help stop the supply and trafficking of prohibited substances in the build-up to the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, they have announced.

August 30 - Britain's Secretary of State for Business Vince Cable (pictured) is to lead a delegation this week of more than 25 leading UK companies to Brazil, in the first Ministerial visit between the countries since the UK elections in May, and the Rio 2016 Olympics and Paralympics will be a major topic of discussion.
