Travel agent Globetrotter has become the latest company to reaffirm its partnership with Swiss Paralympic.

The company has been aligned with the governing body since 2011, when it signed on as part of the organisation's "Gold Team".

Globetrotter has now stepped up a level and has the new status of "official Swiss Paralympic supplier".

Both parties will cooperate in the fields of travel and logistics which are vital for Swiss Paralympic.

This will involve the Paralympic Games, as well as World and European Championships.

The agreement with Globetrotter comes after Swiss Paralympic signed new deals with soft drink producer Rivella and supermarket chain Co-op.

Rivella has been a supporter of the organisation for more than 20 years, boosting Switzerland's Paralympic stars with financial support and providing drinks for internal and external events.

They have now signed up until the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

The deal with Co-op will run through until 2019 and include the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang in South Korea.

Switzerland won a total of five medals at this year’s Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, four of which were claimed by wheelchair racer Marcel Hug.
