The Beijing 2022 Olympic Games silver medallist won her third consecutive gold medal in the event to top the discipline standings on 313 points.

Japan's Miyabi Onitsuka followed her in the overall points table with 153 points while Britain's Mia Brookes and Onitsuka's compatriot Reira Iwabuchi shared third place on 130.

Marino was triumphant in Switzerland thanks to a second run which resulted in a leading score of 87.25 points.

She was followed by Tess Coady whose best attempt came in the initial run with 85.00 points while Austrian Anna Gasser made up the top three on 82.25.

Both Coady and Gasser were hugely let down by their second attempts as they were too adventurous and it backfired to result in respective scores of 24.00 and 10.25.

The season's schedule was made up of four events with the other three taking place in Laax in Switzerland, the US' Mammoth Mountain, and the Canadian city of Calgary.

Olympic champion Zoi Sadowski-Synnott of New Zealand won the opener before Marino asserted her dominance in the remaining legs.

Men's qualification took place today before the final is scheduled for tomorrow.

Sweden's William Mathisen led the eight that progressed to the medal event as he recorded a best score of 87.00 while Switzerland's Moritz Boll and Francis Jobin of Canada followed behind on 80.00 and 74.33 respectively.

American Dusty Henricksen currently occupies pole position in the overall standings on 260 points and will be able to confirm the Crystal Globe tomorrow.
