German star Darja Varfolomeev did a clean sweep of the individual apparatus titles at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Valencia.

Paris 2024 quota places were also decided with Bulgaria, Slovenia, Israel, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Germany, Hungary, Azerbaijan, France, Brazil, Italy, and Romania each sealing one quota place, while Spain earned two.

Italy, Germany, and Bulgaria had clinched their ticket to Games in the French capital  at the 2022 World Championships.

Varfolomeev scored 34.350 in the clubs final to take the title while Bulgarian Boryana Kaleyn settled for silver with 33.550.

Bronze went to Viktoriia Onopriienko of Ukraine, who managed to score 33.550.

The 16-year-old German was unstoppable in the ribbon final as well as she claimed the title after scoring 33.350.

Kaleyn was once again the second best in 31.850 while Slovenian Ekaterina Vedeneeva grabbed the final podium spot with 31.100.

"It’s absolutely unbelievable, Varfolomeev said after the win.

"I never thought this would be possible."

The German became the first gymnast in a dozen years to claim all individual apparatus gold medals at the World Championships.

Onopriienko also won a unique bronze, becoming the from her country to finish on the podium since 2015.

"This medal today has a very huge weight," she said.

"Today especially, my dream was to give my country a breath of air, a little piece of hope."
